Trattoria Libretto is a new restaurant we opened this May in Vathy on the island of Ithaca. It is centrally located just behind the Town Hall, in a quiet charming neighborhood.

You can enjoy classic Italian and Greek cuisine in our cool yard, always served with a friendly smile. Though our menu is focused on fresh handmade pasta, you might also want to try our version on traditional greek fish & meat dishes. Our service aims to be discreet and effective, creating a homely and relaxed atmosphere that perfectly suits our island.

We honor the centuries old Ionian islands tradition of combining classic Greek and Italian cuisine. Be sure though that we always find a way of adding tastes and ideas from other places too, as we aim to create a menu that is unique. We are also strong believers of providing seasonal produce, so we change frequently our menu to suit what we can find in our local market.

Our yard sits approximately 50 people while indoors we can accomodate around 30.

We are daily open from 19:00 to 24:00, but if you're interested in lunch you can contact us beforehand to cater for you before 19:00.

Menu

Our menu includes starters, meat and fish main dishes, a variety of fresh handmade pasta and desserts of the day.

Our pasta dishes might be very Italian in spirit, but we chose to serve them in our Greek way not as first course but as filling main courses.
