From Athens to Astakos there is a bus service every day at 07:30 which arrives at astakos at 11:45 [Bus service of Aetoloakarnania in Athens tele: 2105129293]

JULY

on Monday and Wednesday the ferry (f/b) Ionion Pelagos departs at 07:00 from Astakos to Ithaki (so one cannot get a connection).

AUGUST - until the 6th of September.

There is a bus service from Athens to Astakos every day except Wednesday at 14:45 -  

Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday and Saturday There is a bus service from Athens to Astakos at 07:30 
 Ionion Pelagos departs from Astakos to Ithaki at 12:15

 
Friday and Sunday there is a bus service from Athens to Astakos at 12:00 via Agrinion

 There are no routes yet anounced that connects Athens with Patras port but you can come with alternative routes
