Ithaki - Ithaca Greece

Ithaca is one of the most famous islands in Greece, thanks to Homer.

It’s the 5th  largest of the Ionian islands, located south of Lefkada and east of the Kefalonia.

Its name probably comes from the Ithacos according to mythology, where he was the first who lived on the island.

On the island there are about 3500 residents.

Until today, Ithaca of Penelope and Odysseus , is an island symbol of homesickness and travels through the Odyssey the "myth " all around the world!

Ithaca is an island with tradition, History and culture.

The Ithacans occupy mainly with fishing, animal husbandry, trade, crops and tourism in the summer period.
