Dioskouri meaning ‘sons of Zeus’ refers to Castor and Pollux, the tragic identical twins born of an
illicit liaison between Zeus, disguised as a swan, and the beautiful Queen of Sparta.
This story is the inspiration behind our delightful accommodation which consists of pairs of identical
houses, all located in Vathy, the island’s capital. Although our holiday apartments are fully equipped
for self-catering, Dioskouri offers some of the best quality accommodation to be found on Ithaca.
Dioskouri Villas is divided into two maisonettes
-Castor and Pollux- as well as two studios
-Iphigenia and Philomena.
