The Venetian Castle ruins in Vathy, also known locally as “Panorama,” for the locals, offer stunning panoramic views of the town and its surroundings.
While the site primarily consists of ruins, the journey to the castle includes a preserved stairway showcasing Ithacan architecture and a charming small chapel dedicated to the Archangels.
Though there isn’t much to see in terms of extensive ruins, the breathtaking vistas and the historical ambiance make it a worthwhile visit.
