The beautiful beach of Agios Ioannis is located on the west coast of Ithaca. The road from Lefki is difficult, with hairpin turns on a steep track that ends about 100m from Agios Ioannis beach, a path then leads down past the windmill. Agios Ioannis beach has no shade and no facilities but still remains one of the most stunning Beaches of Ithaca due to its exceptional crystal clear waters. Definitely worth visiting are the gorgeous little Beaches in the area to which you can walk or swim to from the main beach.
