Therefore the ways of therapy were quite primitive and the main solution for the people was the incantations. These special magic words, menti­oned sometimes with the names of Saints, Christ and God, were the key to therapy for the evil eye, snake­bites, bums, skin irritation, and helped people to find lost objects. To give emphasis, different symbolic gestures and props were used in each incantation which without them was incomplete.
