Polis Beach
Written by chris ithacorama on 27.11.2013
Polis is a beautiful pebble beach, surrounded by a green bay with clear blue waters.
On the north side of the bay there is the Loizos cave, which according to the excavations, was a place of worship for different gods in antiquity.
Thus, Polis is an ideal place to combine the pleasure of a nice swimming and visit an archaeological site. The beach is organized with canteen , sun beds and showers.
In the coast there is a marina where you can hire a boat and make a tour of Ithaca enjoying the nearby, quiet Beaches.
