Panagoula

About 300 years ago in Dexa , above the public road, it was built a small chapel of the Vargin Marry, the panagoula as called by the faithful .
Celebrated every year on September 8 , the day of Panagias's Birthday , the day that celebrates the Virgin Kathariotissa . Everyone that is not able to go to Kathara , they used to worship in Panagoula .
Over the years and especially with the earthquake the church suffered severe damage .
Another chapel dedicated to " Panagoula” exists in the area of Campos in Vathy, near Agia Paraskevi . On the eve of the Ascension, the last day we call the '' Risen Christ '' divine Liturgy celebrated there .
