Hagia Sophia

To church of Hagia Sophia is built on the site mountain above the bay of Punta in the Southeast part of the town of Vathi.
The surrounding area is very beautiful, as the view to the sea and the coastline of Aetoloakarnania.
It was built before 200 years ago by the faithful Christian family Vlassopoulou whose descendants take care to today.
It's a small church , like all churches , painted white. Inside is plain, but clean and tidy. Attention draws the image of St. Sophia with three girls: Faith, Hope and Love, beautiful names and figuratively.
The chapel is celebrated on September 17.
