Kalamos Fountain
Just beyond the palace of Odysseus (St. Athanasius) is the fountain of "Calamus" which supplied water to the palace tenants, their employees, many suitors but mainly to the inhabitants of the city of Ithaca.

Above the beach Loytsa, high on the hill are two Venetian cannon, creating a beautiful picture in the general area.
Towards the Kolieri or Kalamos in North Ithaca you will find an outdoor museum with statues.
The bust of Homer in the central square of Ithaca in Vathy, is crafted by the sculptor Stathis Alexopoulos.
