Monument for Sailors

The monument is located in Vathi, close to the main square, opposite the mansion Drakoyli.

 

Ithaca is an island that has always had many sailors. Some of the sailors lost their lives in the sea, or as it is writtenon the monument  "hugged forever by the waves"
