Filiatro beach is probably the most popular beach on the island. his beautiful pebbly beach is surrounded by olive trees and has camping facilities.

Stavros is the second biggest village on Ithaca and it is situated 16klm from Vathy. It was built in the 16th century and its main attractions are the archeological museum and the bust of Odysseus which can be found at the central square.

The area of Platrithias lies 20km from Vathy and only 3km from Stavros village and it has been inhabited since the ancient years. I n the middle Ages due to the presence of pirates population moved to the mountains.

Perahori lies at the southern part of Ithaca. It’s a small village with a population of about 350 and got its name “Pera-Hori” (Far-village), because of its geographical position.

Lefki is a small village situated on the road to Stavros. Lefki is built on the west slopes of Niritos mountain and its population isn’t more from 70 people.

The graphical village of Frikes lies on the northeast part of the island 19 km away from Vathi. In the small port you will see two traditional windmills and small beautiful Beaches that attract many people.

The Picturesque village of Exogi lies on the Homeric Mountain of Neion, at an altitude of 340m surrounded by wide "steps" of fertile land full of vineyards. Exogi, meaning "Out land", is only 2km from Platrithias and a total distance of 20km from Vathy.

Anogi is a mountain village situated 16km northwest of Vathy and it is the oldest village on Ithaca.

Vathy (or Vathi) is the capital of Ithaca since 1500 and has a population of 1700 people. Vathy’s is build like an amphitheatre around it's natural port (the Homeric Forkys port) which is 300m. wide and its length is 926m.  

Kioni is situated 24 km from Vathy and is one of the most beautiful villages on Ithaca. It is built on a deep bay and the village and has been declared as preserved.
