The statue of Odysseus  is in the waterfront of the central square in Vathy.

The bust of Homer in the central square of Ithaca in Vathy, is crafted by the sculptor Stathis Alexopoulos.

The monument is located in Vathi, close to the main square, opposite the mansion Drakoyli.

North of  the town Vathy is the Cave of the Nymphs , which is a cave sanctuary , dedicated to the Nymphs .

Outside of  the village Stavros , at the end of the coast of the City where is an ancient sunken city , lies the cave of Loizos.

In Kioni on the right side of the port is saved a small portion of the stone house where the hero Georgios Karaiskakis lived until the revolution of 1821.

North of the village Perachori there was the old city Koukouvata, from which ruins of houses still exist. This settlement is known as Paleochora.

Rizes Cave lies beyond the village of Perachori, before the path leading to the Homeric Arethousa Fountain in the area of Anemodouri. 

Acropolis of Alalkomenes is an archaeological site to the right of the highest point of the main road from Aetos to  Piso Aetos .

Kathara monastery is situated 566 m. above sea level, 6 klm. away from the village of Anogi.
